Kurban-Bayram and sabantuy will be broadcasted by some central TV-channels

Within the frames of consolidation of international relations Russian authority corrected the programs of some TV-channels. Several online mass-media report that the corresponding plan is approved by the interdepartmental workgroup for regulation of international relations, headed by the Vice-Premier of the Russian Government Dmitry Kozak.

According to this plan more programs about life and culture of the nations, inhabiting Russian Federation, should be issued by Russian TV in 2012-2013.

In particular, the First TV-channel, “TV-Center” and “Mir” will broadcast the divine service of Kurban-Bayram live from Ufa Central Mosque as well as national festivals of the plough (sabantuys).

The Christmas lithurgy will be broadcasted not just from the Christ the Savior Church but also from Vatican and Minsk. Celebration of Navruz – Turk New Year, celebrated on March 21 – will be shown for Uzbeks and Tajiks.
