Rustem Khamitov visited Republic of Mordvinia

On September 14 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has visited Republic of Mordvinia at the head of Bashkir delegation. The governor of the region Vladimir Volkov was meeting the President RB in the airport of Saransk, public affairs service of the President RB reported.

Fr om the airport the delegation left for Palace of Water Kinds of Sport, wh ere the members of the delegation became acquainted with the peculiarities of the stadium “Start” and with the adjacent urban infrastructure.

A visit to the data-processing center “Techno-Park-Mordvinia” was the next halt. 38 companies are the residents of Mordvinian “Data Center”. The center has its own interesting ideas concerning establishment of electronic governmental systems. Rustem Khamitov and Vladimir Volkov came to the opinion that establishment of high-tech scientific-production centers would allow substantially raising competitive ability of local IT output.

After that Bashkir delegation visited the company “Saransk Optic Cable” – one of the leading Russian manufacturers of optic-fiber cable. The company delivers its products for all Russian regions and for the majority of CIS states.

Further the delegation RB paid a visit to the innovational-production center of “Techno-Park-Mordvinia”. The head of Republic of Mordvinia Vladimir Volkov has explained that “Techno-Park” is the territory of designing and commercialization of innovations. The territory unites research institutions, higher education institutions and enterprises of the region. Vladimir Volkov has reported that 5 thousand workplaces will be opened here. Companies, specializing in researches and designs in sphere of electronic instrument-making, optic electronics, fiber optic electronics and energy-saving “clever” lighting engineering, are located on the territory of the new center on the area about 50 thousand square meters. The second turn of the center will be put into exploitation by the end of 2012 and it will include the center for experimental production, the center of innovational design and engineering center of fiber optics.

After that delegation RB has visited the unique objects of Saransk modern infrastructure, erected within the frames of preparation for the 1000th anniversary of Mordvinian nation’s joining Russia and for the world football championship-2018.

The agreement concerning trade-economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural cooperation between Government of Bashkortostan and Government of Mordvinia has been signed in the House of Republic of Mordvinia. The document is signed for the term of five years and represents a base for elaboration of bilateral and multi-sided interregional programs and projects in agriculture, education, health protection, population social protection, informatization, tourism, science and high-tech, transport, ecology and culture.
