Bashkir pop stars will explain traditional Islam to youth in Ufa

A meeting of Muslim youth will take place on September 19 in Ufa on the site in front of Salavat Ulaev monument. The show “Islam against Extremism”, initiated by the youth department of the Clerical Muslim Dept RB and supported by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov will take place within its frames. About six thousand young boys and girls expected to take part in the show, held with participation of Bashkir pop stars, such as Aidar Galimov, Robert Uldashev, Timur ZinDan and others.

The show will begin with Koran reading and Muslim prayers. All performances will be accompanied with the talks about traditional Islam. The stage will be decorated with flags of Russia, Bashkortostan and the symbols “Islam against Extremism”. Informational booklets about religion will be distributed among visitors.
