Presidium of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia made a statement the day before in connection with killing of sheikh Said Cherkessky in Dagestan.

“The life of prominent representative of Muslim science Said Cherkessky is meanly taken away” – said in the statement – “Initiators of this abominable atrocity have cynically demonstrated complete refusal from strict warning of Holy Koran that one who kills one man not by right, acts, as if he kills the whole mankind”.

Presidium of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia believes that “such committed crime can’t be excused either by God or by people. It is quite evident that the initiators of such crime are mortal enemies not just of Muslims but of the whole multinational and multi-confessional family of nations of our Motherland”.

The Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia urges all Muslims ‘to overcome their pain and not to yield to this provocation, avoiding the vain path of senseless and destructive revenge. Our unity and solidarity before the crafty designs of destructors of peace and harmony in our Fatherland, the enemies of Islam and Muslims will be the best answer”.
