Public Chamber of Bashkortostan focuses attention on problems of public health services

«Key directions to modernise public health services and realise policy of people caretaking in Bashkortostan Republic» — such round table-conference organised by the Commission on Social Policy and Public Health Services of Public Chamber RB took place in Ufa.

The round table-conference was dated to the III social forum «New Social Policy of Russia. Growth Points», which would be held in Moscow on September 27-28.

Dinara Enikeeva, Deputy Minister of Public Health Services RB made a report at the session. Key directions to modernise public health services and prospects of their realisation is subject topical for everybody. Therefore many «painful points» of domestic public health services and the specific proposals directed on their perfection were mentioned at the discussion during the session.

According to participants of the conference, the following should be done: to strengthen preventive component in public health services; to develop physical culture and mass sports; to perfect payment system of medical workers, including additional payment for scientific degrees in practical public health services (now they are not paid); to cancel the order of the former Minister of Health forbidding the medical teaching staff to manage, consult, operate patients; not to admit penal sanctions from compulsory medical insurance for non-observance of length of patient’s hospital stay; to forbid paid medical services in the state and municipal medical institutions.

These and other offers stated at the session of the round table-conference in Ufa will be directed to the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, to organizers of the III social forum «New Social Policy of Russia. Growth Points» to include them into the forum resolution.
