Alexey Silin: «Each resident of Ufa should be an active participant of local government»

Deputies of the city council Airat Fattahov and Alexey Silin checked the quality of yard territories repair and held meetings with people in their election district. Together with them representatives of Ordzhonikidzevsky district of Ufa administration, Directorate of housing and communal services of the district, Housing and utilities administration and contract organisations took part in the inspection over court yards, the press-service of the Ufa City Council informs.

“Unfortunately, it is rather common when apartment dwellers do not have common opinion on how their court yard should look,” Alexey Silin says. “Actually all questions on accomplishment can be solved. It is possible to address for assistance to the Housing and utilities administration, and to the District administration. But prior to addressing somewhere, apartment dwellers should agree among themselves on the issue, spend general meeting, vote, draw up the meeting protocol, and already on its results demand corresponding measures. After all this is the essence of local government, when each resident of our city should be an active participant instead of being just a passive observer.
