Bashkortostan and the the Rostov Region concluded the cooperation agreement

The governments of Bashkortostan and the Rostov Region made an agreement on trade, economic, scientific and technical, social and cultural cooperation. Signatures under the document were put by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev on July 26, in Rostov-on-Don.

The parties agreed to develop the program of activity to execute the agreement on intermediate term prospect and to include specific projects in it, the press-service of the President RB informs.

As Rustem Khamitov marked, one of major directions of cooperation is agricultural mechanical engineering.

The governor of the Rostov Region underlined that the agreement will have continuation in separate forms of interaction.

We have seen much in common in our regions. Also there is a possibility to study experience of Bashkortostan enterprises in the most different directions: agriculture, process industry, high-tech industry, Vasily Golubev said.

During the visit of official delegation of Bashkortostan experience on the organisation of work of multiuse centres was examined.

The head of Bashkortostan also said that now in the republic a radio-electronic cluster is being under creation, it is planned to set up manufacture of accessories for helicopters engines, which can be of interest to JSC "Rostvertol".

Besides, during the meeting of heads of two regions the decision was accepted to go into the issues connected with organisation of direct flights between Rostov-on-Don and Ufa.
