Rustem Khamitov has met official delegation of Austria

In the House of Republic the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held a working meeting with the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Austrian Republic in the Russian Federation Margot Klestil-Löffler. The commercial counsellor of the embassy Dietmar Fellner and the second embassy secretary Florian GRODER also took part in the meeting.

Issues of business relations strengthening, goods turnover increase between Austria and Bashkortostan were discussed there, the press-service of the President RB informs.

Rustem Khamitov marked that Bashkortostan is interested in development of cooperation with Austria in the field of high technologies, in particular, in manufacturing of high-precision machinery for medical and motor industry.

We would like to develop cooperation, first of all, in the field of high technologies. It is manufacturing of new high-precision electrochemical machines for processing of metals. These machines allow to produce the equipment for medical branch, precise instrument making, motor industry, the President said. We will create the most comfortable conditions for work of Austrian manufacturers and production workers. We guarantee absence of administrative barriers, absence of pressure upon business, and its protection against bureaucratic structures. It is my personal guarantee, Rustem Khamitov assured.

According to Margot Klestil-Löffler if to speak as a whole about the Austrian economy and about structure of economy of Bashkortostan Republic there is much in common here and there is great potential for teamwork and cooperation.

We have a considerable quantity of companies working in the field of high technologies, there are many companies in the sphere of tourism which can introduce a set of knowledge in the republic. In Austria local agricultural production is very highly appreciated. We can exchange experience in this sphere. For Austrian investors it is very important that they feel protected in relations with authorities, madam Margot Klestil-Löffler underlined.
