The President of Bashkortostan is taking part in all-Russian rural festival of plough

The all-Russian rural festival of plough is held today, July 7, in the village Dubrovka, Chelyabinsk region, and the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov is taking part in this national celebrity. For the first time federal festival of plough will gather residents from all South Ural zone.

Solemn ceremony started with parade of regional delegations, welcoming addresses of top officials and honoring of pacemakers of agriculture.

The show of professional and amateur bands and artists of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and Chelyabinsk region will continue the festival. Competitions in national kinds of sport, including national Bashkir belt wrestling-kuresh, powerlifting, horse races and arm wrestling are included in the festival’s program too.
