Meeting of Volga federal district’s council is held in Penza

A meeting of Volga federal district’s council is held in Penza today under chairmanship of the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in Volga federal district Michael Babitch and the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov is taking part in it.

Governors and State Duma deputies are discussing efficiency of public management and problems of rendering of public services in regions of Volga federal district. According to the federal legislation beginning from July 1, 2012, departments won’t be righteous to request the information, which stored in other departmental databases, from citizens. Citizens of Russia will be saved from killing excursions to officials for getting this or that document.

The governor of Penza region Basil Bochkarev will take the floor with the main report. He will tell about organization of the work on transition to rendering of public and municipal services in electronic form and about making the system of interdepartmental electronic interaction in the regions. He will also report about functioning of the unified state internet portal and regional portals of public services.

Participants of the meeting will also discuss realization of the legislation, devoted to modernization of Russian political system in the regions. All regional laws about direct election of local governors should be brought in conformity with the federal legislation by July 1, 2012.
