Boris Titov will be a Business Ombudsman in RF

The head of «Business Russia» Boris Titov becomes the federal ombudsman for protection of businessmen rights. The President of the country Vladimir Putin informed about it at the St.Petersburg International Economic Forum. The corresponding decree will be signed in the near future, he said.

As Vladimir Putin explained, under the authority of the representative for the rights of businessmen there will be both domestic and foreign businessmen. Thus the business ombudsman will acquire the right to defend interests of business in court, to stop departmental statutory acts under the decision of court and as injunctive relief to address in court with executive stoppage of officials actions.
