Rustem Khamitov greeted participants of conference «Bashkiria’s Contribution to Russia Victory in the Patriotic War of 1812»

Bashkortostan President Rustem Khamitov directed a greeting to participants of the international theoretical and practical conference «Bashkiria’s Contribution to Russia Victory in the Patriotic War of 1812» which takes place today in the Ufa Congress Hall. The President address was read by Deputy Prime Minister of Government RB Salavat Sagitov.

Participation of the Bashkir soldiers in the Patriotic War of 1812 and foreign campaign of 1813-1814 became a mass display of patriotism and unity of Russia’s peoples, it is noted in the greeting.

Rustem Khamitov expresses confidence that the scientific forum will bring the powerful contribution to preservation of the historical truth, strengthening of grateful memory of feats of defenders of Fatherland – sons of multinational Russia, and wishes its participants productive creative work.
