Rustem Khamitov has met historians Alexander Chubarian and Efim Pivovar

On April 19 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has held a work meeting with the director of the Institute of general history Alexander Chubarian and with the rector of the Russian State Humanitarian University Efim Pivovar, the public affairs service of the President RB reported.

Problems of development of historical science in Russia and peculiarities of teaching history and regional components at secondary schools of Bashkiria and Russia were under discussion there.

The scientists arrived in Ufa for participation in the conference of teachers of history.

For the reference: the all-Russian conference of teachers of history and social studies to the theme “Teaching ethnic-cultural component in the context of the history of Russia”, devoted to the Year of Russian history, is held in Ufa on April 19-20 and scientists from Russian Academy of Science, pedagogues and teachers of history from Bashkortostan, Adygei, Mari-Al, Volgograd, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Khabarovsk regions are taking part in its work.

Field gathering of Presidium of all-Russian public organization “The Association of teachers of history and social studies” has also taken place in Ufa on April 19. Problems of preparation and organization of the main arrangements within the frames of the Year of Russian history were under discussion there.
