Kingdom of Morocco would like to establish business relations with Bashkortostan

The Kingdom of Morocco would like to establish business relations with Bashkortostan in different spheres, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Morocco in Russia Abdelcader Lesheheb stated during his press-conference at the Russian Islamic University under the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia.

Together with the director of the Institute of Islamic civilization Said Kamilev the Ambassador arrived in Ufa, invited by the chairman of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia, Supreme Mufti Talgat Tadjuddin. This is his first reconnaissance visit to our Republic. The Ambassador of Morocco has met with state, religious and scientific activists of our Republic in Ufa.

“My arrival in Bashkortostan is held within the frames of consolidation of friendship between Russia and Morocco” – the Ambassador mentioned – “Our country is considered the second economic partner of Russia among Arab countries and we look at Bashkortostan as our strategic partner in many spheres. Talking to various high-top ranking officials here we discovered many common points, uniting Morocco and Bashkortostan”.

Thus, the Ambassador has discussed many sides of cooperation in sphere of economics, scientific exchange, trade and power engineering with the head of the Presidential Administration RB Vladimir Balabanov.

“Vladimir Balabanov invited me to the Days of Republic of Bashkortostan in Moscow at the end of April and I hope to see the first persons of the region there, including the President RB Rustem Khamitov. We shall search for further ways for consolidation of our bonds. I’ll come to Ufa once again to become acquainted with the Republic and its opportunities deeper and to highlight the key directions of our cooperation” – the guest from Morocco said.

Talgat Tadjuddn has shared his ideas concerning cooperation in sphere of Islamic education and study of Arab language. The diplomat also talked to the rector of the Russian Islamic University Rinat Raev, pedagogues and students and discussed their proposals concerning scientific exchange.

In the morning the Ambassador has talked to the Minister for education RB Alfis Gayazov. The Ambassador has told about his plans concerning partnership in sphere of Islamic education with religious and secular institutes of Bashkortostan.

“In the nearest future we shall organize a return visit of Bashkir delegation to Morocco” – the diplomat stated – “We intend to invite your politicians and Muslim activists but first we have to work up a precise program of our mutual cooperation”.

As M-r Abdelkader Lesheheb reported, the kingdom of Morocco has already established good relations with Saint-Petersburg, Tatarstan, Sverdlovsk and Kursk regions.
