On March 28 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has taken part in the gathering, devoted to preparations of Russian regions for spring sowing, headed by the chairman of the Russian Government Vladimir Putin, in Voronezh, the public affairs service of the President RB reported. Problems of provision of agricultural producers with fuel, fertilizers, seeds, machinery and finances were under discussion there.

For the reference: the spring sowing in Bashkortostan is planned on the territory 2 million 152 thousand hectares in 2012, including one million 390 thousand hectares, meant for grain crops. Sowing areas of the most demanded and profitable crops are increased in the Republic this year: rape – two times, buckwheat – by 27%, soya – by 18%, potato and vegetables – by 1%, sugar beet – by 5%.
