Motor race “For Honest Elections” is under way in Ufa

The motor race “For Honest Elections”, initiated by the regional division of Russian Motorists Federation and public movements “Ufa Voice” and “The Most Honest Observer” is under way in Ufa. The cars with white ribbons and white balls are moving along the October Avenue to the TV Center. At the beginning of the race its initiators stretched the biggest white ribbon, symbolizing honest elections, on the square in front of Ufa administration.

“Our goal is to tell our society, authority and electoral commissions that we need honest elections” – one of the initiators of “The Most Honest Observer” Edward Murzin said – “Since unfair elections are very dangerous, people stop believing the authority and those, whom they once elected, and it leads to destabilization and stratification of the society and finally can result in total collapse of the state. Now people urgently need honest elections and democratic changes and we want to say that clearance of elections depends on all of us”.

Participants of the public movement “The Most Honest Observer” intend to control all election stations in the Republic.

“The name of our movement says that we have no personal interests at the forthcoming elections, we have no our own candidates” – Edward Murzin said – “We will watch the election, placing truthful information about the course of the elections and the results on our site”.
