Irek Yalalov is elected Ufa Mayor

Irek Yalalov is elected the head of Ufa administration. The corresponding decision was reached on January 18 at the city council’s meeting. 28 deputies of 29 have voted for his candidature. Along with Irek Yalalov other two candidatures have been considered at the meeting – Edward Murzin and Salavat Khusainov. 20 deputies voted against Khusainov, six abstained from voting and three didn’t vote at all. 27 deputies voted against Murzin and two didn’t vote.

Immediately after the voting the new Ufa Mayor signed the contract with the chairman of the city council Irek Nigmatullin.
