Rustem Khamitov held a meeting with delegation of Bangladesh

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held a meeting with the delegation of Republic of Bangladesh. As the President RB said, though thousand kilometers separate us from this country, modern technologies can overcome such distances easily so our cooperation can become efficient.

In opinion of the President RB several directions can be determined in this cooperation and first, this is education. “We are ready to make our endowment to training of specialists from your country” - Rustem Khamitov - “At present time 10 students from Bangladesh study in Ufa and we can easily enlarge this number”.

Agriculture is the second promising direction. Production of foods is growing in Bashkortostan and a part of these foods can be exported to Bangladesh. The export of Halal foods can also appear very promising since more than 130 million Muslims live in Bangladesh.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bangladesh in Russia Saiful Hock thanked the President of Bashkortostan for cordial welcome and mentioned that the delegation of Bangladesh had already negotiated possible grain deliveries from Bashkiria with the Bashkir Government the day before. “We are going to continue these negotiations today and hope for the best results” -the Ambassador mentioned.
