The exposition, devoted to the war in Afghanistan, will be opened in Ufa

The exposition “The warriors-internationalists of Bashkortostan”, devoted to the war in Afghanistan and to participation of the natives of our Republic in it, will start working on December 9 at the Republican Hall of Fame. The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of culture RB, the Republican Hall of Fame, the regional division of the Russian Union of Afghanistan's veterans with the assistance of the Government RB, the coordination council of the Republican veteran organizations and the Bashkir Council of veterans of war, labor, the Armed Forces and law-enforcement bodies.

The exposition is formed with the purpose of perpetuation of the memory of soldiers and officers, doing their service duty and military-patriotic education of younger generations.

Representatives of the Republican Government, public organizations, veterans of war and relatives of the perished soldiers and officers are invited to the opening ceremony.

The solemn opening ceremony will take place at 15 o'clock.
