Northeastern regions of Bashkortostan demonstrate achievements in sphere of health protection

The exhibition, demonstrating the potential of health protection of the Republican northeast, is opened in the foyer of the regional Culture House in the village Maloyaz.

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the chief sanitary doctor of Russia Gennady Onishenko, who arrived from Moscow in Ufa for participation in the local medical council, inspected the exhibition.

Five regions-participants of today's field gathering of the Republican council for health protection are demonstrating their achievements here. Mechetlinsky region is acquainting the participants of the gathering with the children's sanatorium “Mechetlino”. Duvansky region is presenting the health center for children under the local central clinical hospital, the center for hemodialysis and the oncological center. Belokataisky region is demonstrating its central clinical hospital, for which the medical equipment for the sum of 30 million rubles was acquired with the frames of the Republican program for health protection modernization. The exposition of the sanatorium “Yangan-Tau” from Salavatsky region occupies the central place at the exhibition. This health center, which is going to celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2012, has its own and very successful productions. Thus, the factory for bottling of mineral water, the milk factory, the sausage factory, several bakeries and hothouses function here. The sanatorium is considered the biggest employer in the northeast of the Republic. Almost 1,5 thousand employees work here. Nearly 26 thousand people from Bashkiria, other Russian regions and foreign countries have their rest in the sanatorium every year.

All these expositions demonstrate the achievements of the Bashkir regions, reached within the frames of the Republican program for health protection modernization.
