The World Sports Games to be held in Ufa

The World Sports Games are planned to hold in Ufa in 2021, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov reported during the talk to the citizens of the town of Agidel.

As the President RB said, the Games are similar to the Olympic Games but the program of the Games included the non-Olympic kinds of sport. At present time 45 Olympic kinds of sport are registered and the World Games' program includes more than 100 non-Olympic kinds of sport, such as sports dances, sports acrobatics and sumo.

Rustem Khamitov has also added that he reported to the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev about the prospects of the World Sports Games during his visit to Ufa last Sunday, November 20. The President of Bashkortostan also told the President of Russia about other plans of the region for the nearest two, three and even ten years in all spheres. In opinion of Rustem Khamitov the visit of the President of Russia testifies to benevolence towards our Republic in the federal center.
