Russian President's Consultant is interested in organization of Muslim education In Bashkiria

The consultant of the President of Russia for internal policy Ilia Barinov has visited the scientific-research center “Development of Muslim Education” at the Bashkir State Pedagogical University by Miftahetdin Akmullah. He was accompanied by the chairman of the council for state-inter-confessional relations under the President RB Vyacheslaw Pyatkov and his deputy Azat Fattakhov, the rector of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University Rail Asadullin, the pro-rector Maxim Mikhailov and the deputy director of the center “Development of Muslim Education” Gali Faizov.

The employees of the center told Ilia Barinov about activity of the University in sphere of Muslim education in Bashkortostan within the frames of the corresponding federal programs. The Bashkir State Pedagogical University actively cooperates with the Russian Islamic University under the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia, with the Islamic College by Miriam Sultanova and with several madrasahs in Bashkortostan, Orenburg and Ulyanovsk regions in this direction. The University issues the tutorials and text-books for the Islamic education institutions and trains specialists for work with religious and youth organizations.

Within the frames of the visit Ilia Barinov has met the leadership of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia and the Clerical Muslim dept of Bashkortostan in Ufa.
