Conference, devoted to international harmony, started working in Ufa

The all-Russian conference “Russia and its regions in search for civil unity and international harmony” started working in Ufa. It is organized by the Ministry of education RB, the Bashkir Academy of public service and management under the President RB, the Institute for ethnological investigations under the Ufa Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and devoted to the Year for consolidation of international harmony in Republic of Bashkortostan.

Scientists from 25 Russian regions and CIS will discuss actual problems on formation of the Russian nation and the problems, concerned with the modern national policy. Special attention will be paid to realization of the state manpower policy in poly-ethnic Russian regions.

Three section gatherings will be held along with the plenary session: “Russian regions on the present stage: peculiarities and models of ethnic-national development”, “The historical experience of foreign countries, Russia and its regions in solution of the problems of inter-ethnic and inter-religious interaction” and “State manpower policy and consolidation of civil unity and international harmony in Russian regions”.
