Rustem Khamitov welcomed participants of the II Turk media forum in Baku

The II media form of Turk countries started working in the capital of Azerbaijan – Baku – on October 28. The forum is called “The factor of Turk-speaking media in the global world: distinctions and common interests” and about 300 delegates from different Turk-speaking countries and regions are taking part in its work. Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Khakassia, Sasha-Yakut, Tuva, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachai-Cherkess present Russian Federation.

The deputy Plenipotentiary RB in Moscow Shamil Tikeev and the deputy editor-in-chief of the news agency “Bashinform” Alik Shakirov are present at the forum from Bashkortostan. Alik Shakirov has read the letter of welcome of the President RB Rustem Khamitov to the participants of the forum.

The President Rb has mentioned in his message that the representatives of the Turk world “are united by deep historical, national-cultural ties as well as by today's business relations”

“These ties visually bring our nations together, creating good opportunities for development of friendly cooperation in many spheres. Modern media space is the conductor of values and ideas, achievements and problems, which people live with. Your role as mass media today reached the level of the dialogue between cultures. You unite states and nations, making real opportunities for close communication and widening of our frontiers. You are doing much in order people would know each other better, searching for the common “supporting points” in the modern and complex world” - said in the message.
