Rustem Khamitov has met representatives of big German companies

On October 25 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has met the business delegation of Germany, consisting of representatives of big companies – the world leaders in their branches. The Prime-Minister of the Government RB Azamat Ilimbetov and the President of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB Uri Pustovgarov were also present.

“We are happy to see the guests, arriving in our Republic, but we especially appreciate those, with whom we maintain long-term relations and our colleagues from Germany are found in this very list” - Rustem Khamitov stated, welcoming the business delegation from Germany.

The President of Bashkortostan mentioned that for the last ten years German businessmen often came to Bashkortostan for making business contacts.

“Today we have solid but not yet fully developed potential in our cooperation” - Rustem Khamitov said - “And I hope that the activity, displayed today, will substantially influence upon development of already available contacts and we'd like that our today's meeting would result in new contracts and projects”.

Rustem Khamitov has mentioned that at present time Bashkortostan is found on modernization stage, so the problem of investments looks rather urgent.

“As the President of Bashkortostan I guarantee fair attitude to all investors” - Rustem Khamitov stated - “We want to see all German investors to be present on the Bashkir land as wide as possible. We are interested in all directions – machine building, woodworking, agriculture, chemistry etc. I'll do everything to make our joint activity really efficient”.

The representatives of German business told the President RB about the projects they were ready to launch in the Republic. Thus, the company, busy with export of seeds in the market of Bashkortostan, offers to open a German-Bashkir agrarian school in the Republic. Rustem Khamitov approved the idea.

Several German companies arrived in the region to find interaction in sphere of oil refining and oil chemistry, machine-building and industrial equipment. Some companies are interested in the use of their projects in sphere of waste recycling and in cattle-breeding.

The President of Bashkortostan mentioned that all prerequisites for such interaction were present in the Republic.

“Our region is a reliable partner and we are interested in establishment of such contacts. I may guarantee that if you reach the decision to work on our territory, our cooperation will be mutually beneficial and successful. Openness and honesty are our principles”.

In conclusion of the meeting German businessmen offered the President RB to make a presentation of the Republic in Germany in 2012.
