The II congress of the Council of Russians RB to be held in Ufa on September 30

The II congress of the Council of Russians RB will take place in Ufa on September 30 and more than 300 delegates from all municipal districts of Bashkortostan, representatives of Republican and federal authority, the World Russians Council and the International Fund of Slavic literature and culture will take part in its work.

Wide discussion of actual problems, concerned with the state of Russian language and culture, the revival of spirituality, consolidation of international accord and moral problems will take place within the frames of the congress.

After the end of the congress’s plenary session its participants will lay flowers on the monument of S.T. Aksakov and will participate in the Aksakov’s ball of the XXI international Aksakov’s festival at the Bashkir State Theater of opera and ballet.

Popularization of the ideas of spiritual unity, patriotism, the love for the native land and its nations, for the whole of great Russia through preservation and investigation of the historical heritage of the Russian nation, development of aboriginal Russian culture in Bashkortostan, interaction and inter-enrichment of Russian and Slavic cultures with the cultures of Turk and Finno-Ugric nations RB, spreading of the knowledge about history, culture and present condition of Russians in Bashkortostan are considered the main goals of the congress, headed by Vladimir Samorodov.
