The meeting with the Ambassador of Ukraine has taken place in the Government of Bashkortostan

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in Russia Vladimir Elchenko has held a working meeting with the deputies Prime-Minister of the Government RB Anvar Makhmutov and Zugura Rakhmatullina yesterday after the meeting with the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.

The parties were discussing the opportunities of interaction between Bashkortostan and Ukrainian regions in sphere of education, culture and science, the press-service of the Government RB reported.

Vladimir Elchenko stressed the importance of student exchanges and visits and said that real steps in this direction were already made: two higher education institutions of Ufa signed cooperation agreements with their Ukrainian colleagues this year.

Zugura Rakhmatullina has marked the prospects of such bonds and expressed the readiness for cooperation in humanitarian sphere.

“Introduction of new international education standards in Russia opens new opportunities for exchanging with experience and for realization of joint student programs, so our education institutions are ready to all proposals in sphere of cooperation” – she stated.
