Rustem Khamitov and Rustam Minnikhanov visited “KAMAZ” workshops

On September 22 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitiov visited the town of Nabereznye Chelny within the frames of the official visit to Tatarstan. The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was meeting him at the airport.

In the town Rustem Kahmitov and Rustam Minnikhanov visited the workshops of JSC “KAMAZ”. The heads of two regions inspected the main stages of the truck chassis assembly. The plant produces 180 trucks daily.

Rustem Khamitov, accompanied by Rustem Minnikhanov, became acquainted with the new models of trucks and buses, designed by “KAMAZ” scientific-technical center. In 2010 the company has sold out more than 30 thousand trucks.

Rustem Khamitov paid special attention to the armored truck “Typhoon”. This truck was for the first time presented to the Russian Ministry of Defense in June 2011. At present time the truck is passing necessary tests and after that it will be possibly added to the Ministry’s armory. Rustem Khamitov together with Rustam Minnikhanov estimated the technical parameters of the machine, looked into its salon and watched its abilities in operation
