Rustem Khamitov: “Bashkortostan has to become the absolute leader in agriculture of Russia”

Bashkortostan has to become the absolute leader in agriculture of Russia. The President of Bashkortostan posed such problem at the celebration of the100th anniversary of the Bashkir scientific-research agricultural institute and mentioned that at present time Bashkortostan was considered one of the leading agricultural regions in Russian Federation, standing in the Top 5 of the leaders.

“This is quite good result in a whole” – Rustem Khamitov said – “But we have to do everything to multiple these positions. We have to become the absolute leaders, having everything for that – excellent specialists, very good institute, wide agricultural territories, technologies and machinery”.

Rustem Khamitov expressed assurance that Bashkir agriculture would remain stable and said that the leadership RB would further render the all-sided assistance to agriculture.

“I have no doubts that the Republican authority will always support our agrarians in any situation” – he stated.

Rustem Khamitov has reminded that in 2010 Bashkortostan managed to attract the additional resources from the federal center at the rate of 3,5 billion rubles, thus smoothing the after-effects of the drought in the region. Today the leadership of the Republic finds new and new ways for supporting the agrarians, subsidizing their costs for acquisition of fuel and machines and cheapening the expenses of the milk producers.

“I can say with certainty that we shall render such assistance always” – Rustem Khamitov stated.
