Rustem Khamitov has given a talk to the director of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin

On July 27 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has held a business meeting with the general director of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin and the problems of cooperation between Bashkortostan and one of the biggest motor-car corporations in Russia were under discussion.

Rustem Khamitov has mentioned that cooperation with “KAMAZ” is important for the Republic from all points of view and not just because its enterprises work on the territory RB. “We are the co-owners of several enterprises on the territory RB, so we have to conduct joint and well-coordinated policy. As far as I understand, it was so and it will be so. Sure, we’d like to attract the “KAMAZ” capacities for opening new productions here, for getting new opportunities from the point of view of assembling some mechanisms and units for our agriculture and our economics. We’d like to discuss these questions and problems today”.

Sergey Kogogin has mentioned in his turn that Bashkortostan for “KAMAZ” business is the second important region after Tatarstan. The main part of its plants is concentrated in Naberezhnye Chelny and JSC “NEFAZ” from Neftekamsk, Bashkortostan, stands in the Top5 of all company’s plants.

“I think that for the period of the crisis we’ve managed to hold our positions and even make these positions stronger in Neftekamsk. Today we reached the pre-crisis volumes. Now they are higher than in 2007-2008. On the whole the volumes in Neftekamsk are quite enough. It is important that “NEFAZ” mastered the “Mercedes” platforms, i.e. the first contacts started and the first contracts are executed” – Sergey Kogogin said.
