Volumes of house-building will be increased almost two times by 2015 in Bashkortostan

3,7 million square meters of housing is planned to erect in Bashkortostan by 2015 – almost two times more, than it is erected nowadays, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov reported at the field governmental gathering in the town of Sterlitamac. In his opinion the aim is quite real.
“I think the potential of the Republican building industry allows us figuring on such spurt” – he said – “We have the companies, able to build quickly and much. These companies are ready to invest in new technologies and in modernization of their productions. The builders from other regions would like to come here too but this variant is undesirable. We will cope with the volumes we have now self-dependently”.
The problem of dwelling shortage and expensiveness, which was the key one at the gathering, is typical for the whole country and unfortunately Bashkortostan has nothing to boast of, comparing with other regions. By the housing provision our Republic has held the 56th place among other Russian regions in 2010. Since then the situation wasn’t substantially changed. For six months 2011 780 thousand square meters of dwelling have been put into operation in the region – only by 3% more than in 2010. The growth is minimal. In order to make 3,7 million square meters every year during four years, the rise should be measured not by percents but at least by dozens percents.
Rustem Khamitov drew attention of the participants of the gathering to the rise of demand in dwelling. For the first five months the volumes of the distributed hypothec credits made up almost four billion rubles in the Republic – two times more than for the same period of time in 2010. It means the demand in housing is to the fore and the Republican leadership intends to stimulate it further. But stimulation of the demand without substantial rise of the volumes of house-building can bring the whole work on making the credits for citizens cheaper to naught and provoke the rise of housing prices, though these prices are high enough now. At present time one square meter of housing in the Ufa resale market costs about 50 thousand rubles and it can happen so that the Government RB, making the dwelling cheaper for one people at the expense of the Republican means, makes it even more inaccessible for others, so one has to build more and this housing should belong to the economic class.
