Constantine Tolkatchev: “Preliminary voting will permit to determine the people, ready to present our Republic in the State Duma”

The preliminary voting (primaries) on determination of the candidatures from “United Russia” and the all-Russian National Front for elimination of the candidates to State Duma deputies will start in Bashkortostan on July 21 and the chairman of the State Council-Kurultay-RB, the secretary of “United Russia” regional political council Constantine Tolkatchev, the head of the regional “United Russia” executive committee Rustam Ishmukhametov and curator of the all-Russian National Front in Bashkortostan Alexander Degtyarev told about the procedure of the primaries on July 20 during press-conference in the news agency “Bashinform”.

“Primaries are the novelty of our party and none of other political parties conduct such discussion of the candidates” - Constantine Tolkatchev mentioned – “6620 people will take part in the primaries: 50% of them are the representatives of “United Russia” and other 50% - the representatives of the public organizations, included into the all-Russian National Front. I believe that such voting will permit to determine the people, ready to present our Republic and its interests in the State Duma of Russia with high level of objectivity”.

The primaries will be held between July 21 and August 8 on 17 sites in towns and regions RB. The lists of the candidates include 123 people and every candidate will participate in at least five meeting on different sites in Bashkir regions.

The regional coordination council of the all-Russian National Front formed the list of the plenipotentiaries, which have to take part in the primaries.

“About 80 public organizations joined the all-Russian National Front, about ten enterprises and hundreds of people, i.e. about half a million in total complexity. The list of the public organizations includes Republican trade-unions, the Union of Women RB, the Union of Pensioners, the Pedagogical Assembly, the Association of small and medium business undertakings and others – the most authoritative organizations, determining all public processes. Their plenipotentiaries will take part in the primaries through secret vote, determining the candidates to the State Duma”- Alexander Degtyarev reported.

After the primaries the results of the preliminary voting will be sent to the federal coordination council of the all-Russian National Front and the final list of the candidates will be approved at the XII congress of “United Russia” on September 3-4 in Moscow.
