The Auditor of the Russian Accounts Chamber arrived in Ufa

The first gathering of the joint workgroup of the Russian Accounts Chamber and the Government RB has taken place in Ufa, July 7. The workgroup was established in accordance with the agreement about interaction between the Chamber and the Government RB from October 30, 2010.

In accordance with the workgroup’s plan of actions the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the Chairman of the Russian Accounts Chamber Sergey Stepashin determined the pilot project for formation of the integrated contractual system in Republic of Bashkortostan as the main direction in activity of the workgroup.

The auditor of the Russian Accounts Chamber, co-chairman of the joint workgroup Alexander Piskunov has taken the floor with the main report at the gathering. He outlined the main problems in construction of the federal contractual system: the insufficiency of the management’s current level, not enough development of the contractual legislation, the absence of well-developed informational environment etc. It was also stated that the federal contractual system represented the unique instrument for control over the processes of social-economic development, allowing raising the level of competitive ability and the population’s quality of life.
