In Perm the Council session has opened at the plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal District (PFO).

For participation in the session Rustem Khamitov, the President of Bashkortostan arrived in Perm. It is held under presidency of the plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in PFO Grigory Rapota. Representatives of the federal ministries and departments, heads of several district regions will discuss prospects of development of power generation complex of PFO.

— Today on a district share fall about 18 % of current consumption in Russia and approximately 20 % of the established capacities of power stations of the country, — Grigory Rapota said opening the session. – We extract 21 % of the Russian oil and about 41 % of capacities of oil refining is concentrated here. At the same time it is predicted that power consumption growth in the district till 2020 will make 2,3 – 2,8 % a year, but the gain of power generation will be less.

As a result of such prospect, according to Grigory Rapota a disbalance between energy consumption and generation may appear. To eliminate it, it is necessary to introduce energy saving, to improve condition of power supply networks. Besides participants of the session will speak about power service of all industrial consumers of the electric power, about decrease in power consumption of gross national product, problems in oil branch, about gasoline and diesel fuel prices.
