The action «We remember …» took place in Ufa

In the Victory park, a youth action «We remember...» dated for the 70 anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War took place in Ufa.

It started at four o'clock in the morning with lighting "Memory Candles» and lasted practically all the morning. At midday when inhabitants of our country have learnt about the beginning of the war from the report of the Soviet Information Bureau, a moment of silence was held in memory of died people.

During the action a display of fragments of documentary films about the war was shown, balloons symbolising souls of victims during the first hours of war were sent into the sky. And in memory of 48 months of war 48 bells rang.

Students, pupils of military-patriotic and teenage clubs, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and military operations, and also youth public organisations, including representatives of "Young Guards of United Russia» lighted candles in memory of victims and laid flowers to the Alexander Matrosov and Minnigali Gubaidullin monument.
