Rustem Khamitov: “We will do all that is necessary to prevent violation of law during elections”

Public authorities in Bashkortostan will do all that is necessary to prevent violation of law during elections of deputies of the State Duma to be held in December this year. The President of the republic Rustem Khamitov declared this at the report and election conference of Bashkortostan regional branch of the party «United Russia» in Ufa.

Rustem Khamitov marked that though there are several months left before the official start of the election campaign, political activization in the country has already began.

— This fact should be taken into consideration, — the President of the republic thinks. — All of us know that during elections in Russia great passions seethe, and quite frequently serious conflicts occur. «United Russia» – is the largest party of the country, the ruling party. And its position will define the general atmosphere of the election campaign. «United Russia» will set that moral standard which will be a starting point for other participants of the election race. Whether they will run fairly and by rules, or they will push each other and stumble is in many respects depends and on us too.
