Gregory Rapota: “The experience of Ulyanovsk on liquidation of explosion has proved useful in Bashkortostan”

The experience on liquidation of the explosion at the ammunition depot in Ulyanovsk has proved useful in Bashkortostan and liquidation of the after-effects of this accident here is running more operatively, as the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in Volga federal district Gregory Rapota said.

“Unfortunately such accident is not the first” – he reported – “In 2010 similar explosion has occurred in Ulyanovsk. That experience has proved useful here in Bashkortostan. From the first moment all services – the Ministry of defense, the Emergencies Ministry and the Ministry of internal affairs as well as local authorities were working quite well. All this gives us confidence that the fire as well as its after-effects will be liquidated in the nearest possible time”.
