Rustem Khamitov: “There is no triumph higher than the Victory Day”

The President RB Rustem Khamitov congratulated all participants of the Great Patriotic War with the Victory Day:

“Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War and toilers of the home front! Dear friends!

We are celebrating the great date – the 66th anniversary of the Victory over fascist Germany and with all my heart I congratulate all of you with this really all-national holiday!

There is no date more memorable, no event more remarkable and no triumph higher than the Victory Day for us. This holiday reminds the whole world that our country and our army defeated fascism.

This holiday “with tears in one’s eyes” symbolizes bravery and courage, firmness and belief, the pain from the loss of the folks. Our soldiers rushed to the attack, making this day closer and their mothers, wives and children worked hard in the home front. Today, many decades later, we honor the personal feat of every warrior and their names will stay in our hearts forever.

The 9th of May is the day of national unity and pride for all Russians. This day makes us follow the example of our fathers and grandfathers. And today I wish all of you strong health and prosperity! Peace and Peaceful Sky! Every Success in your Creative Labor! Happy Victory Day!”
