President of Bashkortostan has placed flowers on the Eternal Fire in Ufa Victory Park

Solemn ceremony of flowers placement on the Eternal Fire, dedicated to the 66th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945, has taken place in Ufa Victory Park today. The President RB Rustem Khamitov and the Chairman of the State Council-Kurultay-RB Constantine Tolktachev have taken part in it.

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has placed a wreath, symbolizing a tribute to all deceased in the Great Patriotic War on behalf of the multinational population RB, on the Eternal Fire.

After playing the hymns of Russian Federation and Republic of Bashkortostan the metronome has measured the minute of silence. After that the group of officers and soldiers has solemnly marched past the Monument. The march was received by the President RB Rustem Khamitov, the chairman of the State Council RB Constantine Tolkatchev, other top officials and veterans. Further the heads of Republican ministries and departments, representatives of Ufa administration, deputies, veterans and representatives of youth and public organizations have placed flowers on the monuments by Alexander Matrosov and Minnigali Gubaidullin and on the grave of the twice Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Gareev in the Alley of Fame.
