Spring draft begins on April 1 in Russia

The regular spring draft will be held all over Russia from April1 to July 15. 270 thousand young people will be recruited all over the country and more than 8 thousand youngsters, aged between 18 and 27 – in Bashkiria.

The chairman of the Republican draft commission, the secretary of the interdepartmental Security Council RB Marat Magadev says the draft commissions will recruit the citizens of older age first of all, who earlier received draft deferments. Day-time students and pupils at the age of 18 may use the deferments till the end of their apprenticeship.

The recruits start passing the medical boards beginning from today.
