Association for children’s rights will be established in Volga federal district

The association for children’s rights is planned to be established in Volga federal district. This is the proposal, introduced by the governor of Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov at the last meeting of the Council under the Plenipotentiary of the President RF in Volga federal district. The Plenipotentiary of the President RF in Volga federal district Gregory Rapota said yes to this idea. In his opinion the district needs a site, where the ombudsmen for children’s rights and the agencies, responsible for observation of children’s rights, can solve the existing problems jointly. The future association can become such place.

The problems of support of motherhood and families with many children, low infant birth rate and juvenile delinquency were also discussed at the Councils’ meeting. The governor of Ulyanovsk region has introduced the motions on stopping budget financing of abortions and on development of ecologically safe production of toys.

The President of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov, the ombudsman for children’s rights RB Milana Skorobogatova and the chief federal inspector in RB Peter Kapishnikov presented Republic of Bashkortostan at the meeting.
