Delegation of Bashkirs from Perm region has visited Ufa

The prospects of cooperation with the Bashkirs, inhabiting Perm region (Bardymsky area) has become the subject-matter of the talk between the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Zugura Rakhmatullina and the head of Perm regional Bashkir Congress Sergey Ibraev.

More than 40 thousand Bashkirs live in Perm regions and 17 thousand are the natives of Bardymsky area.

The population of the region maintains close relations with Bashkortostan and the annual folk festival “BARDA ZIEN” can become a part of this cultural interaction.

“We would be happy to receive the delegation RB in Perm region this year” – Sergey Ibraev said.

Zugura Rakhmatullina has mentioned in her turn that it is necessary to update the agreement about international relations, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation between the regions, signed still in 1995.

The prospects of cooperation within the frames of the state program “Bashkirs of Russian Federation” were also under discussion along with the wide circle of questions in sphere of culture and education in the course of the meeting.
