Parliamentarians RB have held a meeting with the delegation of Republic of Korea

The chairman of the State Council-Kurultay-RB Constantine Tolkatchev, his deputies Rafael Zinurov and Lilia Gumerova and representatives of the parliamentary committees have held a meeting with the governmental delegation of Republic of Korea, guided by the head of the medium and small business agency under the Government of Korea Kim Dong Sun, in Ufa on March 28.

Constantine Tolkatchev has greeted the guests on the hospitable land of Bashkortostan and characterized high economic potential of the Republic, saying that Republic of Bashkortostan stands in the list of the regions – donors in Russian Federation.

The State Council RB announces human rights and liberties, equal rights for all forms of property and socially oriented state policy the key priorities, the speaker said. He has also reported that more than one thousand laws form the legal system of the Republic and these laws regulate all key directions in vital activity of the state. At that the questions, concerned with making the investment climate in Bashkiria maximally favorable, hold one of the leading positions in the legal structure RB.

Constantine Tolkatchev has also mentioned that stable political situation, based on high tolerance of the multinational population RB, is considered an important factor of the investors’ confidence in the Republic.

The head of the Korean delegation M-r Kim Dong Sun has mentioned the Republic of Korea is the country with rather poor reserves of natural resources but it holds the seventh place in the world export.

“It happens thanks to the state support of our enterprises and thanks to their striving for becoming more competitive in the market’ – he underscored – “This position let us not just developing our own economics but investing in other countries. Along with the high development of IT, shipbuilding, machine building and other branches the ecological business is becoming more and more popular and that can be of special interest for Bashkortostan”.

The head of the Korean delegation has mentioned the businessmen from Korea would like to work in sphere of light diode production in Bashkiria and called localization of such production in our Republic a good business plan.

“This project is just a beginning of our cooperation and other projects can come behind, for instance, the projects in sphere of high-tech industrial equipment, oil-chemistry and mining operations” – M-r Kim Dong Su said and made a request concerning allocation of the corresponding tax preferences during development of these projects.

“All these questions are regulated by our legislation and in case when this legislation is flexible enough we are ready to make optimal conditions for the investors from Korea” – the speaker answered.
