World Bashkir Congress urges Republican community to vote for foundation of the museum “Ancient Ufa”

The World Bashkir Congress (Kurultay) executive community urges Republican community to support the decision of the President RB on foundation of the Republican historical-cultural museum “Ancient Ufa” on the base of the archeological monument “The settlement Ufa-II”, the press-service of the executive committee reports.

“The signing of the decree concerning foundation of the museum “Ancient Ufa

by the President RB Rustem Khamitov is the important public-political act, aimed at further investigation and popularization of rich historical heritage of Bashkir nation as well as of all nations, inhabiting modern Bashkortostan. We highlight the fact that the administrative center of a new power has appeared on the territory of the famous medieval Bashkir town after Bashkiria’s free-will joining the Russian state. We see the continuity in development of the regional urban culture in this act. The executive committee of the World Bashkir Congress urges all public forces of the Republic to support the decision and the actions of the President RB on preservation of the historical heritage of our nations and render the all-sided assistance to make this decree of the Government RB a reality” – said in the executive committee’s statement.
