Mahmud Abbas has held a meeting with Supreme Mufti Talgat Tadjuddin in Ufa

The head of Palestinian national administration Mahmud Abbas has held a meeting with the chairman of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia, Supreme Mufti Talgat Tadjuddin on Wednesday, March 23. The meeting was held at the Central Mosque of Ufa, where two Muslim leaders committed the Mohammeddan prayer. The communication was continued in the residence of the Supreme Mufti and the parties were talking Arab language without an interpreter. Talgat Tadjuddin has demonstrated the picture, symbolizing the springs of Islam in the region, to the guest and told him about activity of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept and about the history of the first Central Mosque in Ufa. In the memory about this meeting the Supreme Mufti has presented the honeycombs with famous Bashkir honey – the symbol of Republic of Bashkortostan – to the guest.
