Rustem Khamitov: “Power has to be fair”

“Unfortunately the power is practically separated from ordinary people and it happens on all levels: in the rural districts, in municipalities and on the Republican level too. People feel the heaviest discomfort not because they are deprived of something or their salaries are too low but because the power is unavailable. At that the power has lost its authority because it is unfair with respect to people; it is really cruel, selective and clannish. Our power exists in itself, ignoring ordinary people” – the President RB Rustem Khamitov said to the journal “Producer of Russia”.
“I have two personal internal slogans which I try to explain to people: the first slogan is that power is for people and, second, power has to be fair” – the head of the Republic said – “It is terribly hard to do because the power today is cynical and doesn’t care of an ordinary person, it simply doesn’t see any people around”.
