President RB Rustem Khamitov offered to solve the problem of ownerless power grids

The President of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov offered to solve the problem of ownerless power grids, taking the floor at the gathering of the State Council Presidium in Khakassia, devoted to problems of power engineering and energy saving. There are more than 1000 kilometers of such grids only in Bashkiria and Republic needs more than 1,5 billion rubles for their reconstruction and determination of their masters now. In opinion of the President RB this problem is of high importance not only for our region but for the whole country as well.

The President of Bashkiria also raised such important for the Republic problem as the adaptation to new conditions in the wholesale power engineering market. According to M-r Khamitov JSC “BASHKIRENERGO” was developing beyond the frames of “RAO EES of Russia” for a long time. Now, when the company enters the market, the Republic faces certain problems, related to abrupt rise of energy prices. The Republican leadership keeps this situation under close control, working through it jointly with the Russian Ministry of power engineering. All problematic questions have to be solved already in March but in a whole such regions as Bashkortostan and Tatarstan need help in adaptation to new work conditions in the power engineering market. The President RB has also told about big power engineering objects on the territory of the Republic, which construction was because of many reasons suspended: the nuclear power plant in the town of Agidel, Nizhneyasunskaya hydroelectric station and the heat station N5 in Ufa.
