The Days of Mordvinia started in Bashkiria

Celebration of the Days of Mordvinia started in Bashkiria. On Thursday, March 10, the official meeting of the Mordvinian delegation with the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Zugura Rakhmatullina has taken place in the Government House RB.

60 people arrived in Bashkiria fr om Mordvinia in a whole – representatives of the regional authority, artists, local lore scientists and arts and crafts masters.

The deputy Chairman of the Government of Mordvinia, Minister of culture Peter Tutaev reports the Days of Mordvinia in Bashkiria are dated to the 1000th anniversary of Mordvinian nation’s unity with other nations of Russia.

Holding of the Days of Mordvinian culture is scheduled in 35 Russian regions. The celebrities have already taken place in 20 and Bashkiria is the first national republic, wh ere such action is held.

As Peter Tutaev says, Bashkiria is interesting for Mordvinia first of all from the point of view of that experience on consolidation of international relations, which is accumulated by our Republic. Mordvinian authorities also try to make favorable conditions for representatives of all nationalities, living there, for support and preservation of their cultures and languages.

The celebration of the Days of Mordvinia in Bashkiria will last till March 12. The conference “The culture of Mordvinian nation is the prosperity of multinational Russia”, arts and crafts exhibitions and the show with participation of Mordvinian folk bands are appointed for today. On March 11 the celebrities will be continued in the town of Sterlitamac and Fedorovsky region RB.
