Gregory Rapota paid a visit to residence of Supreme Mufti

The Plenipotentiary of the President of Russian Federation in Volga federal district Gregory Rapota paid a visit to the residence of the Supreme Mufti RF, the chairman of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept RF on February 18.

The Plenipotentiary had a talk to the Supreme Mufti Talgat Tadjuddin in the residence.

The Mufti demonstrated the model of the future Islamic center, made of crystal glassware, to the Plenipotentiary. The main building of the center – the mosque – will be located on the territory of the Kalinin’s Park in Ufa and its building will be able to house 3333 praying Muslims. The building of the administration of the future Islamic Academy and the dean’s offices will be located nearby. The hair from the beard of the Prophet Muhammad will be kept in the minaret of the mosque.

“The construction works will start on April 1” – the Supreme Mufti stated.

Gregory Rapota inspected the apartments of the residence and the Mufti demonstrated him the pictures, symbolizing the springs of Islam.
