Igor Shegolev: “Bashkiria long ago holds stable positions in sphere of e-government launching

On February 10 the Government RB signed the cooperation agreement with the JSC “ROSTELECOM”.

The document was solemnly signed by the Minister of communication and mass communications RF Igor Shegolev and the President of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov.

In opinion of the Minister “this document is becoming very popular in the country now. The company “ROSTELECOM – the main operator of the e-government – actively cooperates with the regions and this cooperation can be called two-sided in full measure. It especially concerns Bashkiria, which long ago holds stable positions in the e-government sphere. The Republic has many projects, which can be called the pilot and the model ones, especially in sphere of interaction between tax, social and pension services” – Igor Shegolev stated to “Bashinform”.

He has also reported that “ROSTELECOM” comes to the regions with its technologies, already working in Moscow and other regions. “It permits us to make so that the information systems of

the central, regional and municipal authorities work in close cooperation”.

“We believe that those designs, which justified our hopes as the pilot ones in Bashkiria, will be applied all over the country and vice versa some things, launched in other regions, can be brought here and use without big investments” – Igor Shegolev said.

“Besides, the already signed agreement will help to reduce the already available costs, including the costs for the project “E-Government”. One of the key aims is to make so that all costs would be understandable, manageable and, sure, much less than they might have been in case every region would go its own way” – the Minister of communication and mass communications RF underscored.
